a Data Flow and Support Flow for this analytical chemistry laboratory. Documentation was prepared in report (Word) and
presentation (Power Point) format, using Visio for data flows.
Ameriquest Mortgage, Orange, CA, 6/04 to
8/05. Technical Writer– Prepare Users Guides,
Systems Documentation and SOX Process Procedure documents for financial databases and applications related to
the mortgage business. Created templates for the documents, worked with developers and users to obtain
the necessary software information, coordinated with external SOX auditors and internal
Security to ensure proper document content and interfaced with management for scheduling and priorities.
Ameriquest Mortgage, Orange, CA, 8/03 to
12/03. Technical Writer – Inventory
databases and severs and document the interfaces for production SQL and Oracle
databases. Prepare Standards and Procedures for the Database Services Group. Interface data
displayed using Visio and converted to graphic format for the Intranet. Text documents created
using Word and converted to RoboHelp for the Intranet.
Independent Consultant, 10/02 to 8/03 - Projects included Technical Writing,
Web Site Training, new system definition and general systems support for desktop systems
Xerox, El Segundo, CA, 2/02 to 9/02. Technical
Writer - Prepared documentation for a Xerox proprietary software
language and tool kit used for the development of custom print drivers
under MS Windows 2000, XP and NT. Documentation was in the form of on-line
help and hard copy. Information obtained from interviewing developers,
review of code samples and creation of a sample Printer Drivers, including
the PPD and XPD (Xerox Proprietary) files, installation and testing.

to 11/01. Proposal Manager - Prepared proposals in response to US
Government Requests for Proposals for services and construction projects.
Responsible for full proposal preparation, including definition of requirements,
technical and management text inputs, graphics, publication and submission
to customer on schedule. This position required interface with other
technical writers, graphic artists, on-site construction management,
joint venture partners and subcontractors.
Security First Group, Los Angeles, CA, 12/00
to 6/01. Consultant - Developed documentation for financial, Distributed
Applications software. Supported the planning and scheduling for the
transition of these Distributed Applications to other facilities. Developed
mainframe Standards and Procedures Manual for the IS Department. The
manual covered proprietary financial software, system libraries and
data and JCL/COBOL standards. Both projects required research on mainframe
and client/server systems, Internet and local documentation and interviews

Consultant - Created technical documentation for products offered
and developed a new-hire tutorial for this Internet Service Provider
business. Evaluated, recommended and installed contact tracking and

- For this Internet startup, developed documentation to support
